Name:
Emma "KC" Barters
Gender:
Female.
Age:
14 years, 10 months. Birthday is Octobre the 14th.
Cult:
In-Between, although she hangs with some of the Rockers in pretty much all of her free time.
Appearance:
Kc looks a little eccentric for her time period; usually wearing a polo T-shirt of a dark color, cargo shorts to just below her knees fitted with a rediculous amount of pockets and old, worn combat boots that are 'hand-me-downs' from some chap at the donation centre. Sometimes she wears a large, cloth jacket. For fourteen years, she's tall and rather curvy. Her hair is dirty blonde, and wavy, reaching to her bust area. She has jade eyes that are half-narrowed and make her look asleep. Her distinguishing feature is her newsboy's hat, which she wears low, to the point it makes her upper face look whispy and shadow-y. Another notable feature of hers; her hands are freaking big, and are very blocky and bony, matching her father's in size.
Trinkets:
In her many pockets, she carries a bit of everything; cash, candy, money, food stamps, gum, a switchblade, screwdriver, a pair of latex and plastic gloves, thread, some sewing needles-- name anything random, and she'll probably have it on her person. She has a bandanna from her father that she sometimes ties around her neck, a yarn bracelet from her sister around her left wrist, and a necklace made in gold from her Gramma Barters that has an 'E' in cursive, with rubies studding the letter. She keeps it under her shirt.
Personality:
KC is a very lazy person; a lazy genuis, if you will. She loves being a couch potato, sleeping in late, and generally sitting down and talking with her friends. She considers herself as an 'it;' one could tell she's female, but she has enough characteristics of both genders to make good friends with both. While generous, she likes to complain, and so she has a rep of being easily pressured, while, in reality, she's very stubborn. She has a sly way of doing things that makes others look over in interest. She gets very lonely very easily, though, and she has a great problem with self-esteem, procrastination, and spending all of her money. An interesting quirk; she's a cartoonist, but she doesn't tell anyone. She also mumbles a surprising amount.
History:
She was born in Texas, in a small rural area, next to her cousins' farm. But, when her mother died when she was 2 years old from a horse-riding accident, her father decided that she and her sister needed to move. And, for some reason(due to his insanity, KC thinks), he decided that they were going to land in Europe. They arrived. KC soon dropped her Texas twang in what little speech she had, and adopted something of a British accent, though the way she mumble(d/s) made her sound more from Brooklyn than anything. She was considered eccentric, as she picked up after her father, and her skin tone was much darker than the norm at the U.K.
She now skips school often to be with her Rocker friends. Her father is sickly, and stays home most of the time, and has no idea of how she gets caught up in fights and bars and beatings. (He's slightly curious about how his wallet's money seems to disappear, though...)
